How to deposit funds via SWIFT

Choose SWIFT as a payment method, enter the desired amount, and confirm the transfer. Don’t forget to check the details of your deposit.

You can use SWIFT for GBP and EUR transfers. In this article, you’ll find a step-by-step instruction on how to deposit funds via SWIFT.

How to deposit EUR and GBP via SWIFT

Web platform

⠀⠀1. Log in to your CoinLoan account or sign up.

⠀⠀2. Go to Wallet, find EUR or GBP, depending on the currency you’d like to deposit, and click the Deposit button.

⠀⠀3. Choose the SWIFT payment method.

⠀⠀4. Enter the desired amount into the field and click the Continue button.

Note: The minimum deposit amount is 5,000 for EUR and GBP.

⠀⠀5. Initiate a transfer from your bank account in the corresponding currency.

Mobile app

⠀⠀1. Open the CoinLoan mobile app on your Android or iOS device.

⠀⠀2. Go to the Wallet module.

⠀⠀3. Choose EUR or GBP, depending on the currency you’d like to deposit, and press the Deposit button.

⠀⠀4. After that, go to the SWIFT deposit method.

⠀⠀5. Enter the desired amount in the Deposit module and tap the Confirm button.

Note: The minimum deposit amount is 5,000 for EUR and GBP.

⠀⠀6. Initiate a transfer from your bank account in the corresponding currency.

Important notes

  • The name on your bank account form must match the registered name on our platform.

  • Your transfer details have to be put precisely like in the SWIFT Details form. Otherwise, your transfer won’t succeed.

  • The Reference you see after clicking Continue is a unique code you should use precisely for your transfer to go through. If you don’t know which field to put it in, please contact your bank.

  • If you want to make a deposit through a corporate bank account, upgrade your CoinLoan account to a corporate one by contacting support@coinloan.io.

  • CoinLoan takes over transfer fees. However, some additional fees might be charged by intermediate banks SWIFT uses for transferring your funds.

  • SWIFT deposits usually take up to 3 business days.
